Penny Jordan is a pen name of Penelope Jones Halsall. She has written over 170 category romances.
Penny Jordan's first contemporary romance, Love's Choices, was published by Mills & Boon in 1984.
In 2008 the UK-based Avon imprint of Harper Collins released Silk, the first part of a trilogy featuring a Cheshire family and spanning the years from 1929 to 2002. Almost 70 million copies of her novels have been sold worldwide.
