Elizabeth Thornton: Historical Romance
Elizabeth Thornton is the pen name of Mary George. Born 1940 in Aberdeen, Scotland, she became a teacher and established her own nursery school before emigrating to Canada with her family.
As many historical romance authors she was captivated by the the Regencies written by Georgette Heyer. Many of her historical romances are set in the Napoleonic era prior to the Regency. She likes reading and is a Harry Potter fan. She also likes to travel to research her books.

Lindsay Townsend: Romantic Thriller and Historical Romance
Lindsay Townsend lives in Yorkshire, England. She has published romantic thrillers set mostly in the Mediterranean and (from 2008) historical romance set in medieval England and Roman Britain.
Lindsay lives in Yorkshire, in the north of England, with her husband, Alan, and also has family in Devon. She loves singing, music, walking, reading and cooking - especially trying out old recipes.
She has been writing stories since the age of six, and has been a professional novelist for many years.
