White Rock Resort Romance

I had a romantic birthday at this really cool place on the southern Oregon coast. It is called White Rock Resort and it is located near the little town of Smith River.

They have these adorable little cottages right on the ocean. Each one has its own private hot tub overlooking the sea with glass railings to block the wind. (which can be bothersome on the Oregon coast)

They have kitchenettes so you can stay in if you want or a pretty nice restaurant at the resort that serves fresh seafood. It is a little spendy but perfect for my "special birthday dinner".

When we first got there, we were greeted with the wonderful smell of fresh-baked bread. They had found out when we planned on arriving and had a bread maker set to be finished right then. And lots of fresh butter to go with--Yum!

My sweetie had also arranged with them to have a pretty bouquet of flowers and a nice bottle of bubbly on hand.

We had a very romantic three days and I would recommend the place to anyone. They have different sized cottages so you could even go with another couple and split the cost.
